Dr. Kailashi Zigler LAc SI

Kailashi Zigler Acupuncture Portland Oregon Structural Integration

Despite growing up in rural Indiana, I’ve been around acupuncture for most of my life. My grandfather was an orthopedic surgeon who left his job to become an acupuncturist in 1986. Some of my earliest memories are of him buried in books next to his small mannequin covered in all the acupuncture points. My mom would go on to become a skilled massage therapist, “forcing” me to allow her to practice on me.

So I find myself in the lucky position of a third generation bodyworker. Despite going on meandering trail, I made my way to OCOM for both my master’s and doctorate degrees in acupuncture and have been in practice since 2018. Being an acupuncturist is what I was meant to do and I feel extremely grateful to have found my place in the world.

My passion is helping people who have acute or chronic pain. It has been endlessly rewarding to help them balance their posture and return people to a more mobile life. My greatest joy is when a patient forgets there was even pain there to begin with, knowing that when they leave my office, they can return to the activities that bring meaning to their lives in an easeful, effortless way.

Sessions with me can include acupuncture, Chinese herbs, structural integration, cupping, and gua sha. I strive to offer unique treatments meeting you where you are at. While offering a general practice open to all people in all conditions, I specialize in pain and mobility issues. I have advanced training in sports medicine acupuncture and am a certified structural integrator.

When I am not sticking needles in people, you can find me at the Sandy River Delta running my sweet golden-doodle Hank, on my meditation cushion, making stained glass art, or eating tacos with my partner.
